The "[OLD]" label indicates that this token has been officially superseded by the new SPECTRA token. Following a governance proposal, the project migrated its core infrastructure to the Base network to enhance scalability and lower transaction costs. Consequently, the original APW token is now a legacy asset as the ecosystem transitions to its updated framework.
The migration follows a fixed ratio of 1 APW to 20 SPECTRA tokens. This ratio is set and does not fluctuate. To migrate, users must use the official Spectra Migration Bridge, which supports assets on Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum. Once the bridging process is complete, users receive the new SPECTRA tokens on the Base network.
The official migration bridge is scheduled to stay open until December 15, 2025. Holders are advised to complete their token swap before this date. After the deadline, the ability to convert legacy APW tokens into the new SPECTRA tokens may become restricted or entirely unavailable.
Spectra Finance is a yield-trading protocol that enables users to manage and trade the future interest of yield-bearing assets. By splitting assets into Principal Tokens (PT) and Yield Tokens (YT), the platform allows users to sell future interest upfront or hedge against yield volatility. It was formerly known as APWine before rebranding to reflect its modular yield derivative features.
The legacy token no longer powers the protocol's core functions. Utility features such as governance voting, incentive emissions, and protocol rewards have moved to the new SPECTRA token on the Base network. While the old contract remains on-chain, it is no longer integrated into the active Spectra Finance ecosystem for rewards or voting escrow (ve) locking.
Liquidity is transitioning away from legacy pools on older decentralized exchanges toward new platforms on the Base network.
