The $SWAN token serves as the backbone of the ecosystem with several key functions: it is used as collateral by Computing Providers to secure tasks, as the primary payment method for AI computing and storage resources, for decentralized governance via DAO voting, and as a reward mechanism for node operators and contributors.
$SWAN is the main tradable asset used for payments, governance, and collateral. SWAN Credit ($SWANC) is an internal utility token often used on the testnet or obtained via faucets. It is specifically designed for use within the Lagrange platform to pay for AI model deployments and testing.
Providers can choose between two roles. Edge Computing Providers (ECP) require at least 4 vCPUs, 32GB RAM, and 1 GPU for ZK-tasks.
