In July 2025, League of Kingdoms transitioned into Arena-Z to evolve from a single game into a multi-game Web3 franchise. As part of this evolution, the LOKA token was replaced by A2Z, which serves as the native governance and utility token for the entire ecosystem. This new structure encompasses multiple titles beyond the original game, including LOK Chronicle and LOK Hunters, creating a unified platform for players.

The migration features a swap ratio of 1 LOKA to 20 A2Z. For users holding tokens on exchanges like LBank, the transition is typically handled automatically. Users holding tokens in private wallets must use the official Arena-Z Swap Portal to manually convert their assets. While the quantity of tokens held increases due to the ratio, the proportional ownership within the ecosystem remains the same as it was at the time of the swap.

Players can earn through several methods. Land NFT owners receive dividends based on resource collection and game revenue. Additionally, players can gather in-game resources, mint them into NFTs, and trade them on secondary marketplaces. Competitive participants can join Continent vs. Continent (CVC) battles, where top alliances and individuals receive A2Z rewards. The game remains free-to-play, though utilizing NFT assets like Dragos can significantly accelerate progress and earning potential.

Land NFTs represent digital real estate within the game. Owners receive passive rewards in the form of dividends, often distributed in stablecoins or A2Z, derived from the resources gathered on their territory and general game revenue. Owners can level up their land to attract more players and increase resource yields, which directly enhances the dividends they receive. This creates a strategic layer where effective land management leads to increased ecosystem rewards.

Dragos are specialized dragon NFTs essential for specific play-to-earn activities; they are required to mine Dragon Soul Tokens (DST) and provide significant combat buffs to troops. AZZY is a digital companion introduced during the rebranding that serves as a universal player profile. It tracks a user's achievements across all games in the Arena-Z franchise, evolving based on player progress and providing a consistent identity across the multi-game platform.

The project launched the Arena-Z Chain, a dedicated Layer-2 network designed to provide near-zero gas fees and high-speed transactions for in-game activities and NFT trading. A2Z token holders possess governance rights through Arena-Z Improvement Proposals (AIPs). This allows them to vote on critical ecosystem decisions, such as game balance adjustments, the distribution of ecosystem funds, and the selection of new gaming titles to be integrated into the franchise.
