The anti-phishing code is one of the important security features of your LBank account. Once enabled, the official emails sent by LBank will display your preset code, helping you verify whether the email is genuine and reducing the risk of phishing attacks.

What Is an Anti-Phishing Code

  1. An anti-phishing code is a personalized code set by the user to help verify whether an email is officially sent by LBank.

  2. When you receive an email claiming to be from LBank,

    • if the email displays your anti-phishing code correctly, it is more likely to be authentic.

    • If the code is missing or incorrect, stay alert and do not click any links or provide any account or verification information.

How to Set It Up

  1. Log in to the LBank App and tap your profile avatar or account information area at the top of the page to enter the「User Center」.

  2. Tap the「Security」tab.

  3. Under「Security Settings」, find「Anti-Phishing Code」and tap「Settings」.

  4. Enter the Anti-Phishing Code you would like to set.

  5. Under Email Verification, tap Send and enter the verification code sent to your registered email address.

  6. Under Google Auth, enter the verification code generated by your Google Authenticator app.

  7. After completing the verification, tap Confirm to finish the setup.

  1. Once the setup is complete, your Anti-Phishing Code will be shown as enabled. Going forward, official emails from LBank will display your personalized code.

Recommendations

  1. Choose a code that is easy for you to recognize but difficult for others to guess.

  2. Do not use a code that is too simple or closely related to your other account passwords, as this may reduce security.

  3. If an email claiming to be from LBank does not display your anti-phishing code, or if the displayed code does not match the one you set, do not click any links or attachments in that email.

  4. LBank’s official website is www.lbank.com. Always access your account through the official website or the App, and avoid logging in through unknown emails, social media messages, or third-party links.

How to Change the Anti-Phishing Code

  1. If you want to update your anti-phishing code, go to「Security」page and click「Edit」next to Anti-Phishing Code.

  2. Enter your new anti-phishing code, complete the email verification and Google Authenticator verification, then click「Confirm」to finish the update.

Reminder

The anti-phishing code is only an additional tool to help identify whether an official email is genuine. It does not replace password management, 2FA, or other security measures.

LBank recommends enabling Google Authenticator, using a strong and unique login password, and carefully verifying the website domain, sender address, and operation source to further improve account security.
