According to CZ, this division will go away. He compared how blockchain will develop over the next many decades (just like after several more decades the Internet was integrated into every-day life) to how the Internet needed to be understood through the use of technical terms likeTCP IP, HTML and older forms of what made up the Internet. Consider sending payments globally without exchange rates, sending payments instantly internationally, and without having to manage, password-protected access to an account via intermediary locations by having your identity saved on the blockchain. These items are not things of the future; they are currently being developed. Users have become aware of the mechanics of using blockchain technology as compared to previous years. Users these days see their wallets pop up on-screen as transaction confirmations and pay network fees. In the future, these layers of the process will be obscured. As a result, the user experience will not differ from what they would experience with any of the other more commonly used apps today.<h2>The Missing Piece: User Experience</h2>Complexity is one of the greatest obstructions to widespread usage of cryptocurrency. Most people do not want to put in the effort required to understand crypto. Unless users are willing to learn how to manage their private keys, switch between different blockchains and calculate gas fees, blockchain technology will never be fully integrated into everyday processes. To achieve this goal, all of the friction associated with using blockchain must be eliminated. Crypto shouldn't always be in the spotlight and it can be used as part of the foundation of living today. If we get to that place, the easiest way to measure if we have made progress will be that no one will discuss crypto.
