The official migration bridge for DYP v1 to v2 closed on January 8, 2025. While most major exchanges supported the automatic swap for their users, those holding v1 tokens in private wallets were required to migrate manually before the deadline. Currently, v1 tokens are no longer supported by the main ecosystem. Users who missed the deadline are encouraged to check the official Dypius social media channels for any potential late-claim announcements or manual support updates.
The migration featured different ratios depending on the network. Ethereum-based DYP v1 tokens were converted to DYP v2 at a ratio of 1:6. For users on the BNB Chain and Avalanche networks, the conversion was performed at a 1:1 ratio. These ratios were established to standardize the tokenomics across the Dypius multi-chain ecosystem and facilitate the transition to upgraded smart contracts.
Dypius utilizes a dual-token model to power its ecosystem. DYP is the primary utility and governance token, used for staking, voting on protocol proposals, and accessing premium DeFi tools and analytics. WOD (World of Dypians) serves as the dedicated in-game currency for the metaverse. It is used exclusively within the World of Dypians for purchasing virtual land, upgrading character equipment, and distributing in-game rewards.
World of Dypians features a free-to-play mode that allows anyone to join the metaverse. However, players can unlock higher rewards and exclusive areas by owning specific NFTs, such as the Cats and Watches Society (CAWS) or Genesis Land. Rewards are earned by completing daily quests, participating in sponsored Treasure Hunts hosted by industry partners, and achieving top positions on the global leaderboards.
Dypius is a highly interoperable multi-chain project. It currently supports Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Avalanche. To further expand its reach and lower barriers to entry, the ecosystem has also integrated with Base, Conflux, SKALE, and the Sei Network. This diverse blockchain support allows users to access the metaverse and DeFi tools with low fees and high transaction speeds across various infrastructures.
Security is a fundamental pillar of the project. All Dypius smart contracts are audited by CertiK, a leading blockchain security firm.
