<p>A few weeks ago, the president fired the starting pistol for everyone, except most of us did not hear it.</p><p>On March 6, 2025, President Trump signed an executive order that, unbeknownst to most of us, fundamentally changed the future of every American's finances. This is not just another bill stuck in Congress, but an already formalized deal that changes the way people will view and use Bitcoin and any other type of cryptocurrency.</p><p>For those of you who are not paying attention, you will likely be the last to participate in this new value. </p><h1>Let us explain in very simple terms what has taken place.</h1><p>The executive order declares the United States as the country that will be the "hub for Bitcoin" and all other digital assets globally. Additionally, a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve is being created — like a digital Fort Knox — along with a larger Digital Asset Stockpile for all the other cryptocurrencies.</p><p>The government is no longer just going to tolerate cryptocurrencies; they are going to be acquiring cryptocurrencies. No longer is this an idea of fringe — Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock (the world's #1 asset manager at $10 trillion) has described Bitcoin as "digital gold". When someone like Mr. Fink, someone who manages this type of wealth, makes a statement like that, Wall Street is going to take notice, and now so has the White House.</p><p><br></p><p>Here’s a key take away: The crypto world has taken a leap towards legitimacy &amp; will continue moving in that direction.</p><h1>Why You Should Pay Attention:</h1><p>If you do not believe me yet, you do not have to be an expert trader or a techie to see how this has changed. It boils down to 3 shifts:</p><h2>Legitimacy Soared</h2><p>Over the years, many sceptics ridiculed cryptocurrency as either a fad, a fraud, or just a bubble. That argument has just proven to be extremely difficult to defend since it is now backed by President Biden creating a national reserve for Bitcoin which sends the very clear signal to every bank, financial institution and government in the world....the USA is betting on this.</p><p><br></p><p>Do you remember when nearly everyone laughed at the internet in 1995 and considered e-mail to be a new toy? This appears to be that very same moment in time; however, this time the government is going to be the first to enter into creating regulations, rather than waiting until there is an entire industry created to catch up with it.</p><h2>Regulations Are Coming, But They Are Going To Be Friendlier Than What You Expected</h2><p>The order ​clearly directs federal regulators to establish supportive and clearly defined policies for digital assets. This is huge! The major reason that the average person has always felt that they would avoid cryptocurrencies was due to their extreme volatility or, their uncertainty surrounding whether their government would ban or tax the whole industry into oblivion or, if the government could freeze your wallet and take away your assets.</p><p><br></p><p>Now you have your answer. The direction is growth, not crackdown. Senator Cynthia Lummis, who has been one of the loudest proponents of cryptocurrency legislation over the years, stated that today’s executive order signifies a major step toward achieving financial freedom. She has fought for a framework like this for years, and now it is finally coming to fruition.</p><h2>Ordinary People Will Now Have More Access to Cryptocurrency</h2><p>This executive order is not designed for billionaires but will make it much easier for the average person to access cryptocurrency. The development of clearer rules will make it easier for people to access cryptocurrencies through a wider variety of mainstream platforms without the fear of having these platforms shut down suddenly by the government. All the financial products that you use should be affected by this change: your banking application, retirement account, and savings strategy will all have an impact from this change.</p><h1>It’s All About Timing</h1><p>Every historical shift in finance has been followed by those who acted quickly. Gold rushes, real estate bubble-burst cycles, boom-bust dot.coms, have all experienced the same pattern. Clarity occurs, while everyone debates whether to act. You do not have to drain your savings account to do this. You do not need to know how to build a blockchain; you should just stop denying what is happening around you.</p><h2>So what are your next steps?</h2><p>Keep it simple; spend one hour this week on education alone (read the actual executive order — it is public domain material and surprisingly enjoyable reading). Open an account at a reputable exchange and deposit an amount that you can afford but won't need for at least a short while.</p><p>Done!
